Last weekend in Division 3 of the All County Junior League, Strokestown defeated St. Faithleachs by three points, Shannon Gaels defeated St. Dominic’s and St. Barrys and St. Croans drew. This weekend League Fixtures are as follows: Division 1: St. Brigids v Kilbride; Kilglass Gaels v Michael Glaveys; Padraig Pearses v Eire Og; Clan Na nGael v Roscommon Gaels; Division 2: Ballinameen v Western Gaels; Boyle v Castlerea St. Kevins. All first named teams are at home. Games at 2pm. Roscommon Intermediate team play Limerick in Division 3 National League semi final at Cooraclare, Co. Clare on Sunday 6th April at 2pm. After their last game, management we handed a few niggling injuries which they hope will have cleared up by Sunday week and they will be able to pick from a fully fit squad. On this Saturday 29th March, Roscommon U-14 team play Leitrim in the U-14 Connacht Championship at 4.30 in Kilglass Gaels pitch. All players are asked to be at the pitch by 3.30pm as this is our first team out in the Championship we hope that parents and family members of the players with all our loyal supporters will turn out in large numbers to cheer the team along. The team was not available at the time of going to press. Our weekly lotto hasn’t been won for some time and the prize fund has reached €2,000+. If you would like to support the Co.
