The Knowledge Transfer Scheme is the new Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine scheme that will replace STAP and BTAP.
Knowledge Transfer Groups will be implemented for some 27,000 farmers across various sectors and will run for a period of three years. Farmers can make up to €750 a year over the three years.
The Knowledge Transfer Groups will be delivered to farmers by qualified facilitators, with the first groups expected to be approved in June.
