Kiltoom and Castlesampson lands for Online Auction on 25th of January

Connaughton Auctioneers are holding their first Online Auction of 2024 on Thursday, 25th of January at 3 pm where two properties are offered for sale under the hammer.

First up is a prime parcel of lands comprising Lot 1: c. 14.55 acres at Ardmullan, Kiltoom, all being of excellent quality and located in renowned farming district.

Situated just off the Kiltoom to Curraghboy road, these lands hold huge potential for building sites (having previously being granted but since expired) and hold commanding views of the surrounding countryside. Standing on the lands are a pen and crush with mains water servicing.

Lot 2 for auction on the day includes c. 1.63 acres of Boglands at Castlesampson, Athlone, comprising a prime turf bank.

Auctioneer Ivan Connaughton states: “We look forward to continue our partnership with Livestock Live (LSL) Platform for Online Auctions in 2024. Farmers are very aware of how to use the system and we always assist first-time users with a demo.

“The system is very transparent. Bidders must have registered in advance, pay a deposit that is refundable in full if they do not purchase and authorise the auctioneer to sign contracts on their behalf if the successful bidder.

“As with all Online Auctions, I highly recommend making contact with our office before Auction Day to ensure you are familiar with how the Online Auction process works.

“The two lots for offer on 25th of January at 3 pm are both top quality with the 14.55 acres at Ardmullan, Kiltoom ideal for local farmers wishing to extend their existing holding and the 1.63 acres of Boglands in Castlesampson ideal for any owner of bog with spread ground at that location”.
