HSE must intervene in PNA dispute – Feighan

Frank Feighan TD (right) has called on the HSE to intervene in the psychiatric nurses’ dispute before disruption is further escalated. ‘Psychiatric services across the country have already been disrupted as a result of the refusal by members of the Psychiatric Nurses’ Association to work overtime. The HSE must open negotiations immediately with the PNA to resolve the situation. Any further escalation would have a serious impact on patients and services. The onus is now on the HSE to resolve this issue urgently.’
