Hospice launches 2023 Christmas Cards project

Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation have officially launched their Christmas Cards 2023 project with CEO Martina Jennings and singer John McNicholl.

Totalhealth pharmacies are the sponsor for the Christmas cards each year and the Hospice is very grateful to them for the support.

In a press statement, Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation said: “Our Christmas cards are available in all totalhealth pharmacies in Mayo and Roscommon and in our 12 Hospice shops and also online at hospice.ie.

“John McNicholl will be singing at our tree-lighting ceremony on Sunday, December 3rd at 6 pm at the Plaza in Knock following the Memorial Walk (at 5 pm) around Knock”.

Since its inception, the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation has been dedicated to funding, supporting, developing and providing palliative care services to individuals and their families facing life-limiting illnesses.

Martina Jennings, CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, said: “By buying our Christmas cards, you are supporting the work that we do at Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. That is ensuring patients with life-limiting illnesses from Mayo and Roscommon have the best possible facilities, where they can be cared for with dignity and respect and that their families also receive the support they require.

“All of the funds raised throughout this event will go towards sustaining and expanding these vital services in our hospices and the community”.
