It is believed that Roscommon free-taker Ger Heneghan is struggling this morning (Thursday) with an injury that is likely to prevent him from starting next Sunday’s Connacht championship game between Galway and Roscommon. Heneghan, who was named at corner-forward for the game, is understood to be still suffering from an injury inflicted on him by Dublin midfielder Ciarán Whelan in last spring’s National League game. Donie Shine is likely to make his championship debut in place of the Castlerea St. Kevin’s player. It is also anticipated that there will be a number of other positional changes on Sunday.
