Help with the bird atlas

If you have an interest in the flora and fauna of your local area, then why not get involved with the Bird Atlas project currently underway? Brian Caffery is the speaker for the March talk at the National Parks and Wildlife Service Offices, Ballinafad, when his subject will be ‘The Bird Atlas 2007 – 2011’. The Bird Atlas will map Britain and Ireland’s birds but will require the assistance of the general public in its compilation. Find out more about this project and how you can be involved on Tuesday, March 11th at the NPWS Education Room (just off N4 Dublin Sligo Road, follow the signs from the N4 for Ballinafad and NPWS). There is no admission fee and the talk starts at 7.45 pm. For further details, contact the NPWS (North Midlands Region Education Unit Office on (071) 96 66704.
