Have you seen a UFO?

Preparations are currently being made for the fourth Irish international UFO conference which takes place in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon on September 22nd and 23rd.             The UFO Society of Ireland began in 1996, the brainchild of Betty Meyler from Boyle. From talking to friends, she realised that there were many people who had ‘seen things’ but were reticent to come forward and relate their strange sightings, some going back 20 or 30 years, for fear of being laughed at or ridiculed. Nevertheless, they expressed a desire to get together from time to time and share common experiences.             Betty Meyler from Kiltycreighton, Boyle, is the President of the Irish UFO society and one of the organisers of the event. The line-up of speakers is currently being finalised, but at the moment, it includes David Coggins, a hypnotherapist from Wales who will show what people have revealed under hypnosis, Paola Harris, a UFO researcher from Italy, Jane McCarthy from Wales who is a psychic investigator and she will talk on the connection between energy lines, orbs, dimensions and UFOs, author Dr. Norma Milanovich from the USA, Malcolm Robinson from the UK, the founder of Strange Phenomena Investigations, Yvonne Smith from the USA, a female hypnotherapist, Ellis Taylor, a medium from the UK, Breege Walsh from Ireland who will focus on electro magnetic fields and frequency.             Doors open at 9 am on Saturday and speakers start at 9.30 am. On Saturday evening, there will be a river cruise.
