Group exhibition featuring Roscommon artists opens at the Arts Centre

A new group exhibition, which features a number of local artists, will open at Roscommon Arts Centre this Saturday (January 29th).

Describing the opening following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions after almost two years last weekend, a statement from Roscommon Arts Centre read: “It has been widely documented that this period enabled a time to build new relationships with nature, plant species and other living matter that surround us, allowing us closer observation and interaction with the often overlooked familiar things we live with and alongside”.

With Other Matter, part one includes works by; Dorota Borowa, Martina Coyle, Robert Dunne, Betty Gannon, Kathryn Kelly, Catherine Kelly Desmond, Dave Madigan, Darran McGlynn, Ida Mitrani, Nollaig Molloy, Noel Molloy, Ciara Roche, Celine Sheridan and Sinead Smyth.

With Other Matter, part one opens at the Gallery Space in Roscommon Arts Centre on Saturday (January 29th) and continues until March 12th. The gallery is open from 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Friday and from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Admission is free.
