James Kilbane will be performing his popular Country Gospel concert at the Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall, Tarmonbarry on Pentecost Sunday, the 11th May at 8 pm. The Gospel night will raise some much-needed funds for phase two and three for the restoration work at the Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall, Tarmonbarry. James Kilbane always delivers over two hours of stirring songs and music that will give much to look forward to on the night. The restoration works are ongoing at the Sacred Heart Church, Whitehall, Tarmonbarry but additional funds are needed for phase two and three. The phase two of restoration involves the removal and total restoration of the original cast iron gutters and down-pipes, the replacement of all fascia boards and soffits, repairs to the roof and parapet walls on the church, restoration of the bell tower and repairs to glass on the stained glass windows. Phase three will involve repairs to the interior plaster work in the gallery, other repairs throughout the church and a total repainting of the interior and exterior of the church along with restoration works to the wooden floors. James Kilbane is no stranger to any midlands music enthusiasts and his Gospel events are always a different experience to enjoy. The night will feature many Country Gospel favourites as ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Ticket Home’, ‘The Richest Man’ as well as several new songs from his latest Gospel album, ‘Heart to Heart’. James’ latest album has been very well received both by the public and media since its release in March. James is delighted to be returning to Tarmonbarry and the midlands region to sing, for what will be a wonderful evening of music on Sunday 11th May at 8 pm.
