Ladies’ Golf The McDermott Cup was won by Kay O’Loughlin 37pts, 2nd Celia Mulligan 36pts, and 3rd Maura Kelly 36pts. On Saturday October 6th there will be an Open Ladies Competition. Boyle Golf Club Results for last weekend’s competition have not been finalised. Thursday night was won by Pat Gannon with a great score of 24 points, Michael Costello came second with 22 and Gerry Emmet came in third with 21. There will one more competition on (today) Thursday. The draw for the Winter League takes place on Sunday October 7th. Open to both Ladies and Gents the format will be an 18 Hole Rumble to be played on three Sundays, (October 14th, 21st & 28th). Finally best wishes to Phil and Gerry who ended their tenure last weekend and head off for a well-deserved break. They will be missed.
