Golf, GAA and soccer action

There’s another brilliant weekend of sport ahead and the US Open Golf heads the list. Tiger Woods is friendless in the market as there are doubts about him after his recent surgery. Betting as follows: 3/1 Tiger Woods, 7/1 Phil Mickleson, 22/1 Sergio Garcia, 25/1 Padraig Harrington, 28/1 Vijay Singh, Jim Furyk, 33/1 Geoff Ogilvy, 35/1 bar. I like the claims of Geoff Ogilvy at 33/1 each-way. We are paying the 1st 6 places each way.   It’s another huge weekend in GAA, with betting as follows: Football — Down 2/1 v Tyrone1/2; Draw 15/2. Cavan 5/2 v Armagh 2/5; Draw 15/2. Galway 1/12 v Leitrim 7/1; Draw 14/1. Kerry 1/200 v Clare 33/1; Draw 40/1. Limerick 13/2 v Cork 1/9; Draw 12/1. Hurling: Wexford 8/13 v Dublin 6/4; Draw 9/1. Kilkenny 1/50 v Offaly 16/1;  Draw 22/1. Euro 2008 matches this weekend: Croatia 4/1 v Germany 1/1; Draw 9/4. Austria 2/1 v Poland 11/8; Draw 9/4. Italy 5/6 v Romania 7/2; Draw 5/2. Holland 7/4 v France 15/8; Draw 9/4. Bet of the Week: Not much luck last week with Lush Lashes but we stole a tenner out of the fund and had a fiver each-way on Dr. Freemantle in the Derby (as broadcast on Seamus Duke radio show on MWR) and he was fourth at 10/1 so we salvaged all of €2.50. We are now €48.50 up for the year to date. This week we are going for a treble: Italy to beat Romania at 5/6 with Tyrone to beat Down at 1/2 and Armagh to beat Cavan at 2/5. The treble works out at 11/4 but we will call it 3/1!!
