In a closely fought competition Rory O’Donoghue won the day with a great score of 47, in second place Sean Heslin (46), Gross Prize to Terry Bright (75) and third place to Lorcan Egan (41) Special congratulations to Phil Emmet who won the Lady Captains Prize for the Ladies. Thursday night’s competition was won by Gary Carty with a score of 26, 2nd  Sean Heslin (25 C/B), 3rd Michael Simon (25). Well done to Michael Costello who won the two’s club. Friday evenings Lady Captain’s Scramble was won by Liz Dwyer, Mary McKeon and Karl Keenan The results for the 18 Hole Rumble in Aid of Crumlin Childrens Hospital held 23rd/24th June were 1st Gerry Emmet, Phil Emmet and Stephen Bohan (84 C/B), 2nd  David Wynne, Owen Garvin and Michael Costello (84C/B) and 3rd Terry Canning, Willie Tiernan and Michael Keville (84). The winners will go on to play in the Connacht Final. Next Sunday is the Presidents prize. Format will be an 18 Hole Stroke Competition with the top fifteen playing a third nine holes. Timesheet is on the notice board. Congrats to the Jack O’Sullivan’s Team who had a good 3-2 win against Ballymote. And finally, best wishes to Catering Supremo Gerry Emmet who celebrates a significant birthday this Tuesday. So as Gerry would say himself ‘Happy Birthday Horse’.
