Roscommon ladies have had a very busy week and great success with three teams reaching the District semi finals. Congratulations to all concerned. The Junior Cup Team defeated Athenry to reach the semi finals and the team consisted of Joan O’Gara, Mary Lalor, Paula Connaughton, Paula Keane and Rosemary O’Brien. The Junior Foursomes team had a mighty battle with Carrick-on-Shannon with the match finally being decided on the second hole of the sudden death play off. The team consisted of Joan Moran & Aisling Hill, Laura Grehan, Catherine Mulryan, Bernie Burke & Marina Dolan. The Intermediate Cup team have also reached the District semi finals on their 4/1 win against Castlebar. The team was Linda Maxwell, Aisling Hill, Marguerite Farrell, Joan Hannon & Marina Dolan. The Mixed team are also to be congratulated on their fine win over Portumna in the second round of the competition.
