Seamus Duke Organiser Roscommon Town GOAL Mile and committee Dear Seamus, Just a note to express on my own behalf and on behalf of all of all of us in GOAL our profound thanks for your tremendous effort in organising the Christmas Day GOAL Mile and raising a total of €5,640. You will be delighted to hear that the GOAL Mile this year was an unqualified success. The total raised is over €380,000. This far exceeds the amount raised at previous stagings of the event. In the end we had a GOAL Mile at 65 locations nationwide which was a great achievement in our 30th anniversary year. Once again pass on our sincere thanks to you, your committee, and the people of Roscommon Town. The money raised will be of inestimable value to our GOALies who do such tremendous work for those in greatest need in 12 of the poorest countries on the planet. Warmest regards and thanks again.
