On Sunday, December 3rd, all roads will lead to St Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy, which is delighted to host the Roscommon Solstice Choir for a fundraising concert (7 pm).

Local man PJ Davis, a familiar voice in Glenamaddy church, will also be performing as a member of the choir, which consists of approximately 100 members.

Special guest will be the man with the Golden Trumpet – the great Johnny Carroll. There will also be contributions from Glenamaddy Church Senior Choir together with Glenamaddy Church Junior Choir.

The money raised from this concert will go towards necessary works in St Patrick’s Church. The Glenamaddy church fundraising committee have put a huge amount of effort into organising this event.

The choir, together with Johnny, will be performing many familiar Christmas Carols. We are extremely grateful to the performers for participating.

There will also be a raffle, with some very nice prizes to be won. Thanks are extended to all who have generously donated raffle prizes.

Tickets are now on sale for €15, plus a booking fee, and can be purchased online from Eventbrite. Bookings can be made by searching ‘Roscommon Solstice Choir’ on Eventbrite or through Glenamaddy Church Facebook page. Tickets are also available in the Parish Office on 094 9659962. They will also be on sale after Mass over coming weekends.

St Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy almost entirely relies on voluntary donations and thanks are extended to all those who contribute to our church annually and also to the people and businesses who have already donated so generously to this fundraiser.
