Carroll set for new role
Former Roscommon GAA Secretary Brian Carroll is set to become the new Vice-Chairman of the County Board this week. He is the only candidate nominated to replace Padraig Naughton who stepped down recently.
Durney takes U-17 reins
Emmett Durney will be ratified as the Roscommon U-17 manager this week. The Clann na nGael man is a previous U-21 and minor selector.
Curran continues in charge
Shane Curran will continue as the manager of the Roscommon U-20 team this year.
Scór success for Roscommon clubs
Roscommon won four provincial titles at the Scór finals in Castlebar last weekend: Kilglass Gaels (quiz), St. Dominic’s (figure dancing), Evan Gunn, Elphin (recitation), and St. Dominic’s (Léiriú).
