GAA Coaching Corner  By Willie Hegarty (Games Manager)  Primary schools Go Games football blitz for all schools Starting this week in football we will be holding our GO Games blitz days for all players boys and girls in fifth and sixth class in every national school in the county over a two-week period at twelve different venues with all games on a 7 a side format.    Our part-time coaches will be informing the schools of all the relevant details regarding times and venue.    The following venues will be used for the blitz days: Dr. Hyde Park, Kiltoom, Enfield, Elphin, O’Rourke Park Castlerea, Abbey Park (Boyle), Ballyforan, Frenchpark, Johnstown, Ballinlough, Padraig Pearses and Tarmonbarry.    Our new batch of TY students from the various secondary schools will be helping our part-time coaches in running the blitzes at each venue. Go Games primary school girls blitz on October 19th We will also be holding a football blitz day for all the Convent primary schools within the County on Friday, October 19 th in Kilbride GAA pitch for fifth and sixth classes and our part-time coaches will be informing all schools of the relevant details.  Go Games primary schools hurling blitz week On the week starting Monday, October 22 nd we will be holding our Go Games hurling 7 a side blitz week for all the national schools we are currently coaching in within the county.    Coaches Prionsias Killian, Michael Carroll and Simon Coyle will inform the schools of all the relevant details this coming week. Underage football development squad news Over the past two weekends Roscommon U14-15 football development squads have being in action, in Castlebar and Sligo. U15 squad took part in the Connacht blitz, Roscommon had two squads on duty with wins over Leitrim, draw with Sligo and lost to Donegal and Galway.    Our U14 squad played Sligo and Fermanagh last Saturday morning. Squad coaching on Tuesday evenings for both the U15 and U14 football squads have now finished.    The players on both squads showed wonderful commitment and dedication throughout the season. Huge thanks is due to all coaches and co-ordinators who put in trojan work over the last seven months with the lads. Roscommon 1 st year football blitz day A football blitz day for all 1 st years took place in Roscommon town last week in Roscommon CBS pitch. Five schools
