In the following years he remained actively involved in St. Croans both on and off the field and his contribution, enthusiasm and love of the game will be sorely missed. The club would like to express sincere sympathy to his wife and family. Ar dheis dé go raibh a h-anam dilis.  Due to the passing of Seamus the social and all competitive action due to take place over the weekend, were postponed. Details of rescheduled events will be available at a later date.  There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were: 2, 9, 17, 26. Next weekend the lotto will be promoted by Miko Kenny, Martin Keane and Domnic McDonnell and Padraic Conama, Eamonn Ceannt and William Tiernan in Ballymoe.     Creggs  Creggs and Clan na nGael served up a Paddy’s day cracker when they shared the points in the O’Gara Cup match, played in Creggs. A strong wind made it difficult to play, while the underfoot conditions were also heavy due to the recent unrelenting rainfall. However both teams contrived to play fast-flowing football and entertained the enthusiastic crowd right to the final whistle. Clan opened the stronger, and even though against the wind, went into an early 1-2 to 0-1 lead. We were to come back strongly, and the half ended level at 1-5 to 1-5, our goal coming from a long range Conor Connelly free that made it all the way to the net. With a strong breeze to come Clan would have been favoured but both teams found scores hard to come by in the 2 nd half, and after a doughty battle it finished with honours even.  St. Brigids The senior football team lost by a point to Roscommon Gaels on Sunday last.
