A grant of €39,500 for a youth project in Ballaghaderreen was welcomed by Deputy Michael Finneran this week. The funding was allocated for a project at St. Mary’s Hall in Ballaghaderreen. ‘The grant of €39,500 is allocated to Ballaghaderreen Youth Project under the scheme of Grants for Locally-Based Community and Voluntary Organisations. Ballaghaderreen Youth Project offers a wide range of services which include educational projects and programmes, youth information centre and services, community youth projects, counselling services, health education programmes and after school supports.’
