There is a full round of games this weekend in the football leagues in Divisions one, two and three. These are ‘starred’ matches when the clubs will have to play without their county players.
In Division One all the games are on Saturday evening at 7 pm. High-flying Pádraig Pearses have Roscommon Gaels at home, while Boyle will be hoping to make home advantage count against Michael Glavey’s. Fuerty entertain another side who are going well, St. Faithleach’s, at Mulhern Park. St Croan’s need points on the board and they have a tough game against Clann na nGael at Enfield. At Kiltoom Frankie Dolan will be on the line with Western Gaels as they take on his own St. Brigid’s.
In Division Two on Sunday the pick of the matches looks to be the meeting of Castlerea and Kilmore at O’Rourke park and Kilbride and Tulsk at Kilbride.
