Four Roads will meet Athleague in the Kepak Roscommon SHC final on October 1st after the weekend semi-finals.
Last night, three goals in a three-minute period midway into the second half ensured that Four Roads eased past Tremane in the end by 3-17 to 0-12.
Then, this afternoon, Athleague squeezed past Oran in dramatic fashion after extra-time in a high-scoring encounter.
Athleague led by two points inside the fiinal minute of injury-time but Joe Henry flicked home a sensational goal to put Oran ahead. Then Ben McGahon pointed a free from 50 metres to send the match into extra-time. Athleague were stronger as torrential rain started to fall and they came through by seven points, 3-21 to 1-20.
