A devastating first-half display helped Four Roads to their 36th Roscommon SHC title in Athleague on Sunday.

Shane Curley’s team raced into a 0-10 to 0-0 lead after only 15 minutes with some brilliant scores.
Athleague’s cause was not helped by the sending off of midfielder Darragh Heavey in the 13th minute.

Four Roads led by 0-18 to 1-5 at half-time, Robbie Fallon with the Athleague goal.

The second half was a very low-key affair as Four Roads held on to their lead and despite a better effort from Athleague they won comfortably.
Final score: Four Roads 0-26 Athleague 2-12.
