Forest Park success story!

Happy days at Moylurg Rockingham Limited – trading as Lough Key Forest and Activity Park – which recorded a profit of €204,000 last year.

It’s evidence of the continued development and success of the Park as a top visitor attraction, according to local politician, Senator Frank Feighan.

Paying tribute to the many people and stakeholders who are working so hard to enhance and develop the facility, Senator Feighan said that he is proud that he helped spearhead this project from the very beginning – by “successfully bringing the unique partnership” of Roscommon County Council and Coillte together.

Senator Feighan added: “Furthermore, the recent Government funding allocation of €500,000 to develop a cycleway from the Park to Boyle Town is another welcome chapter in this success story.

“The development of this cycle corridor will undoubtedly attract more and more visitors into the town of Boyle and will provide a huge boost not just for the town but for this whole region”.
