The Under 12 hurlers from Tulsk Lord Edwards got their first taste of competitive action last week with an indoor blitz vs. Roscommon Gaels. For many of the Tulsk players it was a first chance to show their hurling skills and they didn’t disappoint, with a large crowd watching the action. Tulsk only began hurling training since the New Year so it was fantastic for them to play against another club. The usually train on a Saturday morning in the Four Mile House Centre. The coaches who are doing such sterling work in Tulsk must also be credited for the range of skills shown by the children. Indeed one of the Tulsk players asked when ‘their next blitz was taking place’ so they could see even more action! Thanks to Roscommon Gaels, Roscommon Sports Partnership, and Coiste Íomána.
