The homecoming celebrations for newly-appointed Minister of State Michael Finneran continued recently when Cllr. Paddy Kilduff hosted a ‘welcome home’ gathering in Coffey’s of Lecarrow. Cllr. Kilduff led the welcome for his close friend and associate. He was joined by fellow Mid-Roscommon councillors Martin Connaughton and Orla Leyden. Also present was Canon Peader Lavin who taught Michael Finneran many years ago. During his speech Cllr. Kilduff formally welcomed the new minister and paid tribute to him on being so appointed. Cllr. Kilduff alluded to Minister Finneran’s many achievements and wished him continued success in the future.
