Roscommon Arts Centre is concert venue
Direct from Las Vegas, the Legendary Brendan Bowyer and his Band will perform all of his many hits during an evening of pure nostalgia at Roscommon Arts Centre – this Saturday night.
Brendan, today, has the same high energy he was renowned for in the exciting days of The Royal Showband and The Big 8.
He will be joined on stage by his daughter Aisling as ‘Special Guest’. Aisling is fresh from her own highly-rated show in Las Vegas.
What pedigree in the industry this artist has. The Beatles played support when The Royal Showband toured Britain having been voted ‘Britain’s Most Outstanding Dance Band’ on BBC Television’s ‘Come Dancing’ in 1962. The Royal Showband’s documentary movie ‘The One Nighters’ received a Special Award at The Cork Film Festival in 1963. ‘The Hucklebuck’, which was the biggest of Brendan’s six No. 1 hits, went Platinum internationally. His comeback album ‘Follow On’ was ‘Record of the month’ in Hot Press (2001).
