Evening bus service launched in Ballaghaderreen and Arigna

An evening bus service in the Arigna and Ballaghaderreen areas got underway this week.             The new evening services, organised by Tumna Shannon Dev. Co., got underway on Friday last, August 31st, with a circular route of the Arigna area on Saturday evenings. The Saturday service took in Mount Allen, Arigna, Rover, Glen, Gubbarudda, Arigna, Ardcolm, Gragadh, Glasdromman and back to Mount Allen.             Also on Saturday evening, an evening bus service got underway in Ballaghaderreen.   The route took in Ballaghaderreen, Carracastle, Rooskey, Doocastle, Rooskey, Cloontia and Islandmore and back to Tonroe Bridge and Ballaghaderreen.             A route through Gortaganny and Loughglynn is also promised on Saturday evenings, taking in Sheepwalk, Fairymount, Coolagarry, Gortaganny, Lisacul, Aghaderry and Loughglynn.             Meanwhile there is a circular route of Ardcarne parish on Friday evenings and Saturday evenings. These new services will greatly enhance the quality of life and offer more social outlets to the community being served by Ardcarne Rural Transport.             Free Travel Passes are accepted on all ART Bus services, including evening services.
