With the Lamb Festival taking place across this May Bank Holiday weekend in Roscommon town, JJ’s (The Square, Roscommon) will play host to live music on Saturday and Sunday nights.
First up on Saturday night is Aine Cahill and her band Spam Turner who will be joined on stage by special guest Jason James as part of his Sexy Propaganda tour. Cavan girl Aine has been writing songs since she was 15 and promises “pop with a retro twist”.
With Monday being an extra day off work, there is no excuse not to get down to JJ’s on Sunday to check out Belfast boys, The Hardchargers. The lads are no strangers to this neck of the woods and bring with them a rip-roaring selection of blues, roots and rock. The perfect mix for your bonus night of entertainment to give you Sunday blues of a different variety.
So get down to JJ’s and enjoy two great nights of musical entertainment this weekend.
