Eloise’s 10k raises over €30k for Hospice!

Eloise McDonnell from Kilmovee was due to make her Communion on May 2nd, 2020 before it was postponed due to Covid-19.

Eloise decided to turn this into a positive and set about planning a 10km run in her sister Lucia’s Communion dress. Lucia ran alongside her sister and both girls managed to raise an incredible €30,010.45 for Mayo Roscommon Hospice in memory of their dad, Michael.

Pictured are both girls and their mum Caitriona presenting the cheque to CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice, Martina Jennings.

All at Mayo Roscommon Hospice wish to say a big thank you to the entire family for completing their inspiring fundraiser at the height of the Covid restrictions. It has brought much joy to the people of Mayo and Roscommon.
