We start our weekly tour of the courses in Boyle this week, where Lorcan Egan won Sunday’s 9-hole turkey voucher with 23 points ahead of Sean Heslin on 22. Pat Conroy was in third spot, also on 22.
Meanwhile in Athlone, Alan Oliver took the Carty Meats competition last weekend while Tom Donohue, Declan Corcoran and Vincent Brien took Classes A, B and C respectively.
In the Ladies’ Club, Olive Dolan was victorious in the recent 15-hole competition while Bernie Watson took the 12-hole honours.
Finally for this week, E. Campion edged to victory in the 15-hole winter competition in Castlerea, just beating G. Ryan to top spot.
