Eddi Reader and The Alan Kelly Gang confirmed for Boyle Arts Festival 2024

Scotland’s internationally acclaimed and mesmerising songstress, Eddi Reader, has just been added as one of the headline artists for the 2024 Boyle Arts Festival.

Eddi will be joined by the Alan Kelly Gang for what promises to be an unforgettable concert in St Joseph’s Hall on Saturday, July 27th. Tickets are now on sale and are available on www.citizenticket.com.

Scottish singer Eddi Reader, of Fairground Attraction fame, teams up with Ireland’s own piano accordion maestro, Alan Kelly and his gang of acclaimed musicians featuring Steph Geremia on flute and vocals, John Douglas (Trashcan Sinatras) and Shane McGowan (Sean Keane Band) on guitars with Jim Higgins (Christy Moore, The Stunning) on percussion.

Brimming with powerful instrumentals, alluring songs and buoyant harmonies, this is a wonderful union of Scottish and Irish tradition from true masters.

Alan joined Eddi’s band in 2003 and since has toured and recorded by her side for the past 20 years.

Mixing the Alan Kelly Gang’s innovative perspective to the Celtic repertoire with Eddi Reader’s thrilling and affecting performance, this show has been praised for leaving audiences spellbound.
