Michael Duffy from Ballinagare, who is the current Connacht track and road race U-18 champion, has been chosen on the Irish U-18 team of seven for the European track and road race championships which will be held in Italy and Poland later this summer. Michael also finished 4th in the national road race and track U-18 Championships and has been training at the Sean Kelly cycling school in Belgium. This weekend he heads to Ghent for a road race and trial. Michael is a member of the Ruby Oil Donamon Dynamoes Cycling Club.
