Motorists are being advised to allow additional time for journeys due to a number of temporary road closures across County Roscommon.
In the Athlone operational area, sections of the R362 at Curraghboy and Rahara may close at various times until Friday, July 17, to facilitate road improvements.
Diversions for the Curraghboy works are operating through the L-2018, N61, R446 and R362. Traffic affected by the Rahara works is being diverted through the L-2013, R357 and N63.
In the Castlerea operational area, closures are affecting the L6622 at Derrlahan, L6671 at Gorteenacammaadi, L66184 at Pollaphuca, L6619 at Pollanalty West and L6625 at Pollanalty East until Friday.
Local diversions are in operation and access is being maintained for residents and emergency services.
Separately, the L-7062 between Kilteevan and Cloonmurly is closed until August 14 for bridge rehabilitation. Traffic is being diverted through the N63, L-1806 and L-7098.
