Well done to our Roscommon U-14 camogie panel, who travelled to Raharney, County Westmeath on Saturday, July 4th to take part in a blitz.
Roscommon’s first opposition was the home county, Westmeath. The girls produced a superb performance from start to finish, running out convincing winners on a scoreline of 6-10 to 0-2.
Their second game saw them face a strong Meath side. After a slow start, the Roscommon girls found their rhythm in the second half, playing some fantastic camogie and showing great determination throughout. They finished strongly to secure another excellent victory, this time on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-4.
These were two outstanding team performances, with great skill, teamwork and commitment on display all day. Congratulations to all the players and management on a brilliant day’s camogie. Up Roscommon!
