A good week for the predictions last week as we head into ‘squeaky bum time’ in the Premier Division and Division Two.
St. Peter’s have a game in hand over Ballinasloe Town but face a tricky run-in. The Town must keep winning and hope that the Athlone side falter.
In Division Two, as predicted Rahara Rovers and Moylough ’79 are in a straight shoot-out for the title when the sides meet in the final game in Rahara.
This weekend, Ballinasloe Town and St. Peter’s both face tricky games while the Division One and Two cup competitions are into the latter stages.

On September 29th Ballinasloe hammered CP Ajax 5-1. Exactly one month later, the game ended in a 5-5 draw. Anything could happen here but Ballinasloe are the more likely winners.
