TP Brennan Connacht Shield Semi-Final

Killala v Glen Celtic. 2 pm

The Glenamaddy outfit have enjoyed a terrific run in the Connacht Shield so far and once again have our full support for what promises to be a difficult last four tie.

Prediction: Glen Celtic

Monday, April 22nd

Joe’s Bar Challenge Cup Semi-Final

Ballinasloe Town v St. Peter’s FC. 2 pm

This promises to be an enthralling contest between the top two in the Premier Division.

Traditional RDFL powerhouses, Ballinasloe Town, have finished the season strongly and will be hoping to put an end to St. Peter’s dominance in this competition.

The Athlone side have looked unstoppable at times this season but they should face their toughest test to date in this competition next Monday. This is a tie that could require extra-time and perhaps penalties.

There’s very little between the two sides but the back-to-back champions have to start as slight favourites.

Prediction: St. Peter’s FC
