Well last weekend wasn’t one of our best, but, as Steven Gerrard once said: “We go again!” –and as we all know it worked out really well for him.
The season is coming to an end and there seems to be a new cup to play for each week.
There is however one fixture which looms large this weekend: the Super Sunday title showdown between champions, Ballinasloe Town and league leaders, Castlerea Celtic. Cue Sky Sports style ads with tense music please…

Ballaghaderreen FC v Castlerea Celtic: Castlerea face into a huge weekend, and may rest players. Should still have enough. Prediction: Castlerea Celtic.
Moore United v Skyvalley Rovers (8 pm): The home side will prove just too strong for Skyvalley here and may be a good outside bet to win this competition. Prediction: Moore United.

Ballinasloe Town v Ballymoe FC: There’s something ominous about Ballinasloe lately. Prediction: Ballinasloe Town.

Rahara Rovers v Brazukas: Only one winner here. Prediction: Brazukas.
Division 1 Cup Quarter-Final (8 pm)
Shiven Rovers v Kilkerrin United: This could be very one-sided as the champions look for more silverware. Prediction: Shiven Rovers.

Dysart FC v St. John’s Athletic: We’re opting for an away win here. Prediction: St. John’s Athletic.

Ahascragh United v Ballinasloe Town B: This should be a cracker. Prediction: Entertaining draw.
