A clearer pattern emerged last weekend as Ballymoe went clear at the top of the Premier Division.
There are a number of teams struggling to get off the mark this season and points will be hard won across the three divisions.

Friday, September 23rd
The Herald Premier Division (8 pm): Castlerea Celtic v Ahascragh United: The home side will want to bounce back from last weekend’s derby defeat. Prediction: Castlerea Celtic
Killeen Sportsgrounds – Division 2 (8 pm): Shiven Rovers B v Dunmore Town B: Dunmore are unbeaten so far this season and should continue that run this weekend. Prediction: Dunmore Town B
Strokestown United v Cam Celtic: This game will never go ahead. Prediction: Postponed
Saturday, September 24th
The Herald Premier Division (7.45 pm): Shiven Rovers v Ballaghaderreen FC: Ballaghaderreen have yet to win a game. They may have to wait a little longer. Prediction: Draw
Cloonfad United B v Moylough ‘79 (7.30 pm): For a bottom of the table side, Moylough have actually performed fairly well. Prediction: Draw
Sunday, September 25th
The Herald Premier Division: Brazukas v Moore United (11.30 am): Moore will be hoping to maintain their great start to the season. Prediction: Moore United
Skyvalley Rovers v Ballymoe FC (11.30 am): What a start Ballymoe have had! They should extend it this weekend in style. Prediction: Ballymoe FC
Norio’s Takeaway Division 1: CP Ajax v Glen Celtic (11.30 am): The home side have look more assured so far and should prevail. Prediction: CP Ajax
Dysart FC v Ballinasloe Town B (11.30 am): This could be very one-sided. Prediction: Dysart FC
Lough Harps v Kilkerrin United (2 pm): Lough Harps were going well up until last weekend. Time to bounce back! Prediction: Lough Harps
Loughglynn United v Dunmore Town (2 pm): One win each so far, Loughglynn have been shipping a lot of goals however. Prediction: Dunmore Town
Rahara Rovers v Cloonfad United (2 pm): A full-strength Cloonfad side will have too much. Prediction: Cloonfad United
Killeen Sportsgrounds Division 2 (2 pm): Skyvalley Rovers B v Ballinagare FC: Both sides need points, Skyvalley to remain winless. Prediction: Ballinagare FC

Hodson Bay Atheletic v Roscommon United: Similar records and something tells me Hodson Bay won’t be beaten at home. Prediction: Draw
