St. Dominic’s are through to the AIB Connacht IFC final following a commanding performance against Leitrim champions Aughnasheelin in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday.
Dominic’s did most of the hard work in the opening half and they went in leading by 1-8 to 0-3 , the goal a magnificent effort from Daire Keenan after a superb pass from Cian Kelly.
The second half was a dour affair and the Roscommon side were never in trouble as they coasted into the final. In that final they will play Dunmore of Galway at a Roscommon venue next weekend.
