A lot of good work has been carried out in recent years around Cam Celtic soccer grounds and adjoining facilities. The soccer club and community development committees have now come together in the hope of continuing with further developments in order to enhance the soccer grounds by improving fencing, lighting and also by planning for the possible construction of a walking track and Astro Turf training area for use by the whole community.
In conjunction with this, a 50-50 draw will be launched this Friday night in McDermott’s Lounge in Curraghboy with the very first draw taking place on the night followed by music by Small Deal.
Draws will continue weekly thereafter with a guaranteed winner every week. Sign-up forms can be obtained from any committee member and the €2 entry envelopes are available at all shops and public houses in both Brideswell and Curraghboy.
