People in Roscommon are being invited to walk, jog or run 5K in Castlerea this October in support of Croí Heart & Stroke Charity.
The Croí Night Run will take place on Friday, October 9th, with participants meeting at Trinity Arts Centre, Castlerea.
The family-friendly event is open to people of all ages and fitness levels and is not chip timed, with the emphasis on participation, exercise and fundraising.
Funds raised will support Croí’s work in heart and stroke prevention, health checks, education, rehabilitation and support for patients and families.
Christine Flanagan, Director of Fundraising at Croí, said the Night Run was “a wonderful example of the power of community”, adding that every participant and volunteer helps support people affected by heart disease and stroke.
