Creggs is bracing itself for this year’s Harvest Festival which takes place from Friday October 26th to Monday, October 29th. Always a fun event, this year’s festival features many of the staple events of the festival, with a few more recent additions. As usual the event will get underway on Friday night with the annual Harvest Mass. Also on Friday night, a function will be held in Roarke’s in aid of People in Need. The annual craft fair will also take place during the course of the weekend. Saturday night, October 27th will be a Country and Western theme night in Gannon’s in aid of the Tidy Towns. Sunday afternoon will see a dog show in the afternoon and there will also be a talent competition on Sunday. Monday is Fair Day in the village, with lots of buying and selling on the street. Other events to watch out for include a novel fundraiser for Creggs GAA at the local pitch on Sunday and don’t forget, the mystery person will be making a most welcome return to the village
