Countdown to St Stephen’s Day Fun Run/Walk in Knockcroghery

Knockcroghery is gearing up for the 23rd instalment of its ever-popular St. Stephen’s Day fundraising 10K Fun Run/Walk, with proceeds from the event going to support the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.

The event is organised in conjunction with Violet Hill ICA and Roscommon Sports Partnership. It is the perfect way to get rid of those Christmas cobwebs while enjoying some fresh air – and all for a very worthy cause!

Your support would be greatly appreciated once again this year and registration takes place at Knockcroghery Community Centre at 1.30 pm with the walk starting at 2 pm. Pets are welcome. Entry is €10 for adults and children go free!

There will be refreshments in the community centre afterwards and a free raffle on the day with plenty of prizes on offer. Entertainment will be provided by the Knockcroghery Ukulele Collective, ‘Ukephoric’.

The organisers wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to welcoming you to Knockcroghery on St. Stephen’s Day!
