Roscommon Partnership Company this week invited people of every nationality to a series of multi-skills consultation evenings in Boyle, Castlerea, Ballaghaderreen and Roscommon Town. The Integration and Diversity Project intends to consult with ethnic minorities in the county on issues relating to multi-skilling. There will be consultation meetings in all the main county towns to obtain feedback from ethnic minorities on what areas they would require multi-skilling. Information will include aims and objectives of the integration project, insight into courses offered by education institutions, identification of areas of multi-skilling from the community. One evening takes place in The Melting Pot, Roscommon Town on July 23rd, at 7 pm. Another takes place in the Royal Hotel, Boyle on July 30th, while a third is scheduled to take place in Tully’s Hotel in Castlerea. The meeting in Roscommon will have two parts. From 7 pm to 8.30 pm the Brazilian community will be involved, while from 8.30 pm to 10 pm the Eastern European community will be involved. For more details in relation to the meetings, please call Joseph on (086) 8301701 or (090) 66 27424.
