There is a possibility that the Connacht SFC final will be played at Dr. Hyde Park on July 8th. This Sunday the second semi-final takes place between Galway and Leitrim and a decision will be made afterwards as to where the match will be staged. Historically Leitrim and Sligo have played Connacht finals at a neutral venue and while McHale Park in Castlebar is also a consideration it is well-known that both Leitrim and Sligo have a preference for playing in Dr. Hyde Park.
