Indoor Soccer Tournament: The first matches of the 5-a-side tournament took place this weekend at Strokestown Community Centre where spectators enjoyed some excellent play from all teams. The Boys U-15 teams played, with the quarter-finals finishing as follows: Ballaghaderreen 2 Castlerea 6; Ardcarne 0 Strokestown 3; Roscommon/Kilteevan 3 Kiltoom/Cam 0; Taughmacconnell 0 Ballintubber/Ballymoe 2 This makes for exciting semi-finals, with Castlerea against Strokestown and Roscommon/Kilteevan against Ballintubber/Ballymoe, which will be played on the 2 nd March. The final will take place the same day at a later time. Girls U13: The quarter-finals will be played on 1 st March between: Kiltoom/Cam v Strokestown; A.F.K. v Castlerea; Drum/Clonown v Ballintubber/Ballymoe; Kilglass v Ballaghaderreen. The semis and final will be played on 2 nd March. Boys U13: The preliminary round took place this weekend with the first round and all subsequent rounds being played over weekend 1 st and 2 nd March. Girls U15: The girls matches get underway 23 rd February at 9.30 am with the first round up to quarter-finals. The semis and final will be played on 2 nd March.
