Training continues for our Beginners, U-8, U-10, and U-12 on Sunday Morning from 12 – 1 p.m. ROSCOMMON GAELS On 27 th , the Roscommon Gaels U-14 ladies contested and won our first county final of the year playing a determined and courageous Ballinameen team. We were victorious on scoreline of 5-12, to 1-3 with a strong wind at our backs.  Our senior hurlers dug deep on Sunday last to overcome Four Roads in the championship, played in windy conditions in Athleague. Final score Roscommon Gaels 3-11, Four Roads 1-8 (see special report). We play St Dominics on Saturday evening next 2 nd June. Our U-12 hurlers play in a hurling tournament organised by Padraig Pearses in Woodmount next Saturday, June 2 nd . All players are asked to be at the Library at 10.30 am. KILGLASS GAELS Kilglass Gaels are off the mark already as the first bit of  Silverware was won for 2007 in the girls U-14 Co Final against St Barrys. Our U-14 boys lost to St Coans on Sunday and also our U-12s lost to  Kilmore in the league by two points in what was a very close game.  Our junior team had a great win over Kilmore in the league on Friday  evening last.  The minor club is holding a draw for a family ticket for the up  coming Roscommon game against Sligo in the club rooms on Friday night  at 8pm the draw is restricted to paid up members. A draw was the fairest way to end such a sporting competition. As yet there is no fixture made for a replay but check the ladies fixtures. A meeting is being held Friday evening in the clubhouse at 9pm. All mentors and officials are asked to attend. BALLYMOE   The annual summer outing for the Ballymoe Ladies Club takes place on the 11th July. This year we will travel to Mayo and Connemara, with an overnight stay in the Castlecourt Hotel Westport. We will have two days of relaxation, music and shopping with a boat trip on Ireland’s only fjord off Killary Harbour.
