Clann na nGael cruise into SFC semi-finals with 0-16 to 1-8 victory over Elphin

Clann na nGael secured a comfortable 0-16 to 1-8 win against Elphin in a lackluster SFC quarter-final at Strokestown. Elphin held a slight edge at halftime, leading 0-7 to 0-6 with the breeze in their favor.

However, Clann na nGael dominated the second half, with Josh Lennon and Ciaran Lennon leading the scoring. Elphin’s lone goal came in injury time when John Finnerty capitalised on a rebound after his penalty was saved by Clann goalkeeper Sean Martin.
