Garda Sergeant Chris Grogan, a native of Roscommon Town who is serving in Athlone is running a Golf Classic at Roscommon Golf Club on Saturday, 5th of May to raise funds for the Garda Route 66 Challenge when over 150 members of the Gardai will ride motorcycles across the USA to raise money for a major UNICEF project in Africa. The Golf Classic will be for teams of four and the day will include a meal, green fees and a special night of top class entertainment at Roscommon Golf Club.
